Some destinations stay with you long after you’ve returned home. The landscapes, wildlife, people, and experiences become stories you find yourself telling again and again.
South Africa is one of the incredible places our adventures have taken us.
For us, hunting has never been only about the final moment of a hunt. We enjoy everything surrounding the experience: preparing for a journey, entering an unfamiliar landscape, seeing wildlife in its natural environment, meeting new people, and learning about a place far from home.
That’s one of the reasons traveling and hunting have become such an important part of our lives together.
Adventure Beyond the Hunt
Whenever we travel, we try not to rush through the experience.
It’s a lesson that has been part of our lives for a long time: slow down enough to actually see where you are.
A hunting trip might be the reason we initially travel somewhere, but once we’re there, we want to experience more than that. We want to observe the landscape, learn about the people and culture, photograph what we see, and appreciate the opportunity to experience a completely different part of the world.
South Africa gave us another opportunity to do exactly that.
When you’re thousands of miles from home, even the ordinary parts of the day can become part of the adventure. Everything feels a little different, and there’s always something new to observe.
Bringing the Memories Home
Over the years, we’ve collected mounts from four continents. But when we look at them, we don’t simply see an animal hanging on the wall.
We remember a place.
We remember the journey.
We remember the people, the landscape, and the experiences surrounding that particular adventure.
That’s what makes those memories meaningful to us.
We have also collected thousands of photographs and hours of video throughout our travels. Until now, many of those memories have mostly lived with us. Reagle Adventures gives us an opportunity to finally organize those stories and share them with others who love exploring the outdoors as much as we do.

The outdoors has connected us throughout our lives, from adventures close to home to journeys that have taken us around the world.
