We’ve been adventuring together for a long time.
Long before there was a Reagle Adventures website, a YouTube channel, or cameras documenting our trips, there were simply two people who loved being outside.
We met in fifth grade.
By junior high, we were best buds.
And in June 1987, we got married.
Through every season of life since then, the outdoors has remained one of the things that keeps us connected.
It Started Long Before Us
Both of us grew up with a love for being outside.
Chuck spent his childhood fishing and hunting with his dad, grandpa, and uncle. Family camping trips became another important part of his summers.
Pam grew up horseback riding, fishing, catching crayfish in the creek, riding bikes, hunting with her father, and spending summer weekends at her grandparents’ cottage.
Eventually, those two stories became one.
Our First Big Adventure
In 1989, we traveled to the Adirondack Mountains to fish for pike.
We remember how exciting that trip felt.
Looking back now, it seems like the beginning of something much bigger.
Since then, our adventures have taken us across the United States and to Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Namibia, Denmark, Spain, and beyond.
We’ve hunted.
We’ve fished.
We’ve camped.
We’ve explored.
We’ve taken thousands of photographs and recorded hours of video.
And somehow, we’re still excited about what might be next.
Why We Keep Going
Adventure gives us something to look forward to.
There’s always another place we haven’t seen.
Another road we haven’t traveled.
Another trail waiting somewhere.
But it isn’t only about collecting destinations.
One of the most important lessons we’ve carried throughout our travels is to slow down and appreciate where we are.
Learn about the people.
Experience the culture.
Look at the scenery.
Take the photograph.
Enjoy the moment.
Why Reagle Adventures?
After all these years, we realized we had accumulated more than memories.
We had stories worth sharing.
That’s how Reagle Adventures came to life.
Through our YouTube channel, blog, and photography, we want to bring you along with us.
We’ll share the big adventures, but we’ll also share the small moments that make them meaningful.
Maybe you’ll learn something.
Maybe you’ll discover somewhere you’d like to visit.
Maybe one of our adventures will inspire one of your own.
There’s Always Another Adventure
We don’t know everywhere this journey will take us next.
And that’s part of what makes it exciting.
What we do know is that we’ll keep exploring together.
